Status and limits

This page says plainly how far each part of Zyx is proven. Other pages link here instead of repeating it. It reflects the release of October 2026.

Label Meaning
Live-proven Run for real: against the real app or tool, on an installed Zyx
Built and tested The code ships and Zyx’s own automated tests cover it. Not separately proven against an outside service
Tested against fakes The code ships and is tested against stand-ins of the outside app’s API. No live connection has been run yet
Setup guide only A setup guide follows the tool’s documented way; Zyx’s side is tested, but nobody has run that tool against a real Zyx
Planned Not built yet

  • Synced apps, first connect. For every synced app except mail and Notion, a company’s first connection is the first real run. The operator watches it and checks that items carry the right readers.
  • App sharing that Zyx does not read (Dropbox and Zendesk per-item sharing, Jira and Confluence restrictions, HubSpot record owners, Salesforce sharing rules): such items get the connection’s readers only. Zyx shows less, never more.
  • Fast deletion for Microsoft 365 covers Outlook mail and OneDrive. SharePoint files and Teams messages leave at the next sync.
  • Remote access over OAuth needs the operator to publish the MCP and OAuth paths. Until then, AI tools connect with an API key from the same server or the private network.
  • A self-serve cloud service. An operator installs and runs Zyx for the company.
  • More than one machine for one company.
  • Encryption against the server’s own administrator.
  • Single sign-on or SCIM.
  • SOC 2 or ISO certification, an SLA, or managed failover.
  • Reading LinkedIn, Slack direct messages, or private Slack channels the app is not in.
